KTS Selected to Support the Defense Information Systems Agency

Chantilly, VA – August 14, 2011 – Koniag Technology Solutions (KTS) supports the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) with the planning of Information Technology and Telecommunications systems engineering, logistics, training, and lifecycle replacement and upgrade activities supporting specifically-assigned Executive Communications modernization efforts.

These activities address the identification and integration of new systems, as well as the evolutionary upgrade and migration of existing systems and components to meet mission critical requirements. At the core of executing these programs is managing their impact to current Enterprise Architecture as well as supporting congruency with Enterprise Architecture Strategic Plan.

In executing assigned programs and projects, KTS provides system engineering and technical advisory services and provides technical program and project management in accordance with DoD 5000 and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) policies and guidelines.

During the acquisition process, KTS plans, coordinates and executes technical evaluations, analysis of alternatives, testing, training, fielding, and maintenance planning expertise for all assigned projects.

KTS reports directly to the Government project office on the latest DISA policies for logistics, training, and life-cycle maintenance procedures, and monitors for assurance that modernization efforts follow those guidelines. KTS reviews, evaluates, and/or proposes necessary actions to accommodate those guidelines in an efficient and timely manner.
