The implementation of an effective, efficient, and repeatable IT capital planning process is required by law under the Clinger Cohen Act and is essential to making sound IT investment decisions. We view the PMO as a centralized organization responsible for integrating multiple IT projects to realize significant benefits and achieve the overall set of business objectives for the program. A program as defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI) is “a group of related projects managed in a coordinated way to obtain benefits and control not available from managing them individually.” Some programs include elements outside the scope of the projects in a program, therefore the PMO should include scope for managing a collection of IT projects and all of the activities associated with the program that may seem outside the scope, but if not managed, may impact the overall performance of the program.

Our services include the following components and will be tailored to meet the needs of our clients;
